Sourdough starter morning route

Every morning, before breakfast, I feed the sourdough starter. A quick dip in the white bread flour jar with a folk, then place the load into the starter jar. The aroma of cider seeping out from the mix. A quick stir and a dash of cold water. I replace the lid and place the closed jar on my window ledge in its pottery pot I made years ago. The jar is nothing special, just a jar that has had a past life. The pottery pot is not necessary but as the pot has memories for me, using this way gives the pottery pot more purpose
